by FearLessDoMore on December 26, 2009

I’m administering medications and handling instruments to the surgeon. How do I deal with this?

If you are not trained to do it, then dont do it. If you have been trained to do it, then dont worry, it will all come with experience.

I don’t understand what you are fearful of. Making a mistake? The fear itself will cause you to make mistakes. Calm down, there is probably someone at your hospital or wherever you got your training that can help. If not, keep asking this question. But give more details. Therapy is always an option.

To calm you down: take 2 tbls. of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-3 x day. Vinegar has 93 vitamins and minerals. It has a soothing calming affect. Have you tried meditation before sleep? See yourself working smoothly and effortlessly. It has worked for me all of my life. I wanted to be a professional wrestler. I was one by seeing myself doing so in my mind’s eye. Then I wanted to be a medical transcriber and I did that too. So see yourself handing the doctor his instruments. I know how doctors like to scream and yell because they need vinegar too!…lol
