Fear is a normal reaction that keep us away from danger. the problem becomes when the fear becomes out of control and it turns into a phobia giving you panic attacks or making a symple situation into a complete nightmare. Personally, I would stay away from the bees and wasps for obvious reasons, however I would recommend you to try to analyze why you are so affraid from them…may be you associate them to a bad situation or it symbolizes something that you fear. Remember that our minds sometimes play tricks on us and a fear reaction could be a icerberg of a much more complicated problems. Good luck!
I used to have a terrible fear of bees and wasps for years and years. Only within the last 2 years have I figured out why. They used to chase me and get altogether too close for comfort (right in my face or in my hair). That’s because I always used to wear perfume. Now that I only use perfume for special occasions they’ve stopped following me and I don’t run away from them.
I used to be afraid of bees and wasps, I still am afraid of wasps to a degree, because they are more aggressive. Bees are amazing little creatures, and they are merely doing a job. If you could read some articles on bees and discover what they are doing, and how they do it, and that they sting for self defense only (because a large portion of them die when they sting.) I was working on a job site a few years ago, and there were a lot of bees around, so I took a piece of board, and I poured soda on it and the bees went nuts coming and getting the soda. I had about 40 or 50 bees around me all the time. They weren’t trying to hurt me, they wanted the soda. None of them stung me, or even landed on me. They were doing their job, and getting a sweet drink by coming by. And I was interested in learning about bees so I started reading about bees. If bees were gone, we wouldn’t live the same way as we do now. If I lived in the country, I’d love to have bee hives. They are amazing creatures. Read some stories and then ask a beekeeper to show you around. Its very impressive.

They sting, which hurts and causes swelling. Conquer your fear by staying away from them enough that you don’t get a sting that justifies your fears.
