Next time it rains, go open the door and stand there for a while. Come into the house and wait a few minutes, then go further out into the yard. Don’t take an umbrella with you. It is a great lightening rod. If you take yourself out a little further each time it rains, soon you will be like me. I stand in the middle of the yard looking at them because I find them so fascinating.

Storms are acts of nature. Get close to nature. Rent some videos or dvds about storms to see that they are nature’s ways of providing the earth with what it needs. Understand where lightening comes from, why it rains so hard, why wind blows so hard. Watch storms, tornados, hurricanes on youtube. Understanding is the key. Not knowing makes your fear greater.

Go outside and stand in one, The next time they roll by…

We have nothing to fear but fear itself…..

Its hard to do things alone. I would suggest be with a partner or friend. This helps comfort you because you know someone else is with you.
They will also confort you during the storms :D
