I don’t fear death because i was never born.
My body is not what i am.
What is born must die but the real was never born and the unreal never dies.
I cannot fear what i am not.

I’m not scared of death, i just don’t want to be there when it happens - Spike Milligan

Yes, fear is not knowing what will happen, but don’t think one can fully know anything in life.

False dichotomy.

I think, we are all, somewhat fearful of the unknown. That is the truth of it. No one can really know, until one is "there." Yet, if you have faith in God, you know you have eternal life, and that gives you hope that all is not lost and that life is worth living, even though, sometimes, it is hard to understand why it is worth living. Faith in God means everything - it means, that death, is nothing.

It was after a near death experience, I feel how great life is.

When I was 18, I was told I would not live to see 20…

That was 23 years ago.

I am happily married, I have fathered 7 healthy children, and I have worked to make my life a "good" place.

"if one can conquer the fear of death can one truly know what it is to live?"

Most definitely, Yes.

we are not here to conquer the fear of death
but to conquer the death
God sent us to this planet to learn how to live forever
but the problem is: people are seeking for death instead of living

The fear of death is the reason to truly live, for if we did not know we would die why would we try to live so much in such a short space of time.
