"In the end, Death must conquer. For we became subject to him through birth, and he only plays for a little while with his prey before he swallows it up."
"Death is certain, Life is not."
"Death enters Life only to define it."
and:
"Birth and the grave are one eternal sea."
The only way to cease your fear of Death is to accept that it’s a part of Life, not the opposite of it.
This is more of a little story than a quote, and I don’t know where it originates from, but I’ve always liked it:
A little wave was bobbing along in the ocean, having a grand ole time. He’s enjoying the wind and the fresh air –until he notices the other waves in front of him, crashing against the shore.
"My God, this is terrible! Look what’s going to happen to me!"
Then along comes another wave. It sees the first wave looking grim, . and it says to him,
"Why do you look so sad ?"
The first wave says, "You don’t understand, we’re all going to crash! All of us waves are going to be nothing! (dead) Isn’t it terrible?"
The second wave laughs and says "Look at you! You had so much fun being a wave, that you forgot we’re all part of the same ocean!"
There are three main ways people look at death. Either we die without a soul and there is nothingness. You cannot suffer from ceasing to exist. For a practical eternity you have not existed in the form or the life you now have. "How bad was it?"
You may feel there is a God and if you do you probably do those things you believe are necessary to go to heaven. Nothing to fear there.
You may believe in God but fear Hell. If you believe in God but fear going to hell than whatever religion or spirituality you ascribe to most likely offers you a chance to redeem your soul and earn your place in Heaven. Once again nothing to fear.
NOW SOME FAMOUS QUOTES WHICH MAY HELP.
"Either death is a state of nothingness and utter unconsciousness, or, as men say, there is a migration of the soul from this world to another. Now if death be such a nature I say that to die is to gain; for eternity then is but a single night." Plato
"Life does not cease to be funny when people die anymore than it ceases to be serious when people laugh." George Bernard Shaw
"One who longs for death is miserable, but more miserable is one who fears it." Julius Wilhelm Zincgref
"Death is nothing more than passing from one room into another. But there is a difference for me, you know. Because in that other room I shall be able to see." Helen Keller

"Where death is not I am, where death is I am not" Epicurus (therefore death becomes irrelevant and you shouldn’t fear it :P)
there is no such thing as nothing, we are always something. if you see yourself as what you truly are, eternal energy then death is irrelevant

This was started by me, then my friend finished it =]
