I found the last shall be first: it’s from the Gospel according to Matthew

east is east…if from a Rudyard Kipling poem "The Ballad of the East and West" It’s talking about how the European and American cultures will never meet with the Asian cultures

the only thing to fear is fear itself was President Franklin Delano Roosevelt during his first inaugural speech

i couldn’t find the black ants movement

practice what you preach, i found that a Roman dramtist said something like that. it’s also now an American proverb
