I am writing an essay on courage and i need three clear examples of when Calpurnia shows courage. They must have quotes. So far i have When she stood up to LuLu the woman at the church and when she warned the Radley’s about the mad dog even though most people fear the Radley’s.
I need one more example with a quote.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks So much in advance! - Merry Christmas!

From Shmoop Lit/Calpurnia in To Kill A Mockingbird
By taking the Finch kids with her to First Purchase Church, Calpurnia shows them a different side of her character.
Calpurnia teaches Scout and Jem about community values, and their relativity: what’s right in one place may be wrong in another.
Scout peppers her with basic questions like when her birthday is (she doesn’t actually know, not even the year) and where she grew up (near Finches’ Landing). While Cal shares the basic facts of her life, what isn’t revealed is her feelings about them.
